Isn’t it possible to have a robust and “traditional” faith and practice which is also socially engaged? I doubt that the Episcopal church—or “liberal Christianity” in general—is going to disappear, but I do think that it is quite possible that it will become more and more like the Unitarian Universalists as merely a small sect and not much of a religious movement.
